Company Brochure Case Study

Good enough to eat

Albacore is one of Scotlandís most highly respected independent contract caterers, with workplace restaurants and cafes across the country. They needed a company brochure that would promote their business to prospective clients, portraying both their personality and their range of services.

So we talked about the business, and about what made it unique. We visited their outlets. We discussed how their clients see them. What we encountered was a professional, family run business with great staff, a passion for good food, excellent service and a very personal touch.

Out of this came a set of visual spreads to demonstrate our ideas and illustrate the proposed look and feel for the new brochure. We enlisted the help of a copywriter to refine our ideas and set the right tone for the text. We identified the need for some bespoke photography and art-directed the one day photo shoot.

We managed the project right through design and print, delivering a 32 page A5 brochure which positions Albacore where they deserve to be, alongside their larger competitors.

We have just finished reading "How To Be Great At The Stuff You Hate" by Nick Davies. It's an excellent guide...
